London Moves: Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Condition set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of all parties to this Agreement and may be varied or amended at any time. If you have any queries concerning these Terms and Conditions then please contact us.
1. Minimum charges
A two hour minimum charge is levied on all jobs after which all work is charged in half hour increments. A minimum charge of £40.00 is made for rubbish removals.
Estimates are made based on information provided and best knowledge. If during a job it becomes evident that more time and/or resources are required, you will be advised and no further work will be carried out without your approval.
3. Extra Charges
Charges incurred by our staff will be passed on to you at cost. These may include the Congestion Charge, parking fees, parking fines and toll charges. Extra fuel charges may apply for journeys made outside the M25. We recommend you make provision for parking so as to avoid any fines.
Payment by cash or cheque is required on completion of the job and in some cases a deposit will be required to secure a booking.
Whilst London Moves makes every effort to commence a job at the agreed time, we are at the mercy of traffic conditions and other circumstances that are out of our control which means that all job start times are estimated.
6. Responsibility for Damage
Unless otherwise agreed, London Moves accepts no responsibility for loss or damage arising after a job is completed and payment is received.
Our ‘Goods in Transit’ insurance policy covers your goods for up to £20,000. The policy is subject to £150.00 excess per claim. We recommend customers consider taking out their own insurance in addition to our insurance for increased protection.
